INTERNATIONAL WORK
The majority of our international teams are made up of local workers, but we consider ourselves an international team that bolsters and collaborates on programmes, mainly in Africa and Latin America. We consider ourselves experts in project coordination, budgeting, human resources, logistics, major incidents, food security and hygiene and sanitation.
My seven years working with Oxfam, first in Chad and now in Mauritania, have been full of new experiences. I started out working as a food security coordinator and now I’m the country director. Oxfam has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally.
